Hi Laurel This is a wonderful painting. The soft touches of "orange" color draw the eye in and then around the picture. Its nice to discover new blogs. I often follow Carol Marine, the "Guru" of Art Bloggers! I found your blog while looking at Mary Anne Cary's work. I love your plein air studies...I would like to try some but at 10 degrees here in Canada, its often very difficult!
